Tuesday.
today i started on my PowerPoint. we had to do 5 slides about our Ancient civilization essay, we had to include three pictures for each of the 3 characteristics that we choose. And we had to include a few bullet points about the pictures. We also had to include a map and a introduction and a bibliography of where we got our pictures from. i started and i finished my introduction. i also started and finished my religion. And i started on my Government and Law And on my bibliography.

Sunday.
Today is the last day for us to work on our essays and so everyone was going crazy. i checked if i had all my URLs correct. i also checked what was the word count and it was 1500 exactly with the bibliography,title and my name, class, and teacher. i read through my work really quickly just to check if i had any mistakes. And then i handed it in to Mr.Sparks before the lesson ended.

today was going to be the last day for us to work on our essays, but then we begged Mr.Sparks to give us one more day to work on them, so he sad yes because most of the class wanted a extra day to edit there work briefly. today i had to go on easybib and add a few more bibliographies that i had left to do. then i concentrated more on editing my essay till the end of the lesson.

Today i finished up my conclusion really Quickly so then i can have time to edit my essay.after i finished editing my essay briefly i started to write down my bibliography on easybib.com. at the beginning i had a few problems opening easybib but then there were no problems at all. i think that i really used my time wisely today.

today i continued working on my Art and Architecture and finished it at the end of the lesson because i was working really hard so i finished it in the write time. We and Mr.Sparks decided that the day that we have to hand in our essay on Thursday this week. so planned what I'm going to do each lesson we have humanities this week. i think that i really really really worked well to day.

today i was still working on my Government and Law characteristic. today i think that i talked a bit to much and so that's why i didn't do a lot of work. i finished Government and law nearly at the end of the lesson and started my first paragraph on Art and Architecture. i think that i can work way better next time than i worked today.

today i was working on my religion for half of the lesson. then i started to write about the Romans Laws and Government. And now i now that the Romans Women,new born babies and slaves weren't counted as citizens and so they couldn't vote for their leader and that's not fair. i think that i worked well for the day.

Today i started my essay as soon as i logged in on the computer. it took my a while until i started to write because i had a hard time thinking on what the essay will be. then i started i talked about the concept of time in my introduction i also taked about what civilization i choose and what were the three characteristics that i choose from the six characteristics. i also started on my paragraph about the Ancient Romans religion.

today i used grolier online. the first time i tried to open it, it didn't work but the second i tried and it worked. i searched for ancient Rome and a lot of information popped out . i was reading about put the ancient roman architecture and what materials they used. it was really interesting because i didn't even know one of the materials that they used they were all like strangers to me. For the next lesson I'm going to aim on finishing the art and architecture and do the other tropics. i think that i did a good of amount of work for the day.

Today Mr. Sparks gave us really really good news. He told us that we can to any website to find information from except for Crystal links because he says that all the information on the website is rubbish.Even though we were free on the Internet i kept on working on the older websites because there was still more information that i need to summarize. Mr. Sparks also told us that this is the last week for us researching and week after we will start planning our essays. today i think that i did a good amount of work but i think that i can do better.

Today something weird happened to the class , but I'm not going to tell maybe after two sentences or more. today i sat next to the people who i sat next the last few weeks. Noura and Maha. At the beginning of class the whole class was talking except for a few number of people that were not talking and that was not unusual to the class. Now I'm going to tell you what was the weird thing that happened to the class.For the last 35 minutes of class the whole class was quiet and no one was shouting out or talking to the person next to them they were writing down information. i felt that Mr. Sparks was half proud of us because we didn't disturb him for half of the lesson. And i think if we didn't disturb him for the whole lesson then he will be full proud of us. i did a really good amount of work for the day.

Today we were in the same lab that we were in the last time we had humanities. And i was sitting next to the people that i was sitting next to the last which are Noura and Maha. today we didn't talk as much as we talked the last time. today at the beginning of class we had to wait outside becuase we didn't know what lab to go to, and Mr. Sparks wasn't on time he was late. we were about to go to the library becuase we couldn't find a free Muliti-Media Lab. But then Mr.Sparks found a free Lab , but this Lab was different from the Lab that we use to go to the last few days. So it took us a longer time to log in. And we also had to add the website that Mrs. Fletcher gave us. Mr. Sparks had to change the seating because he knew that a lot of ae going to talk. i was sitting between Sheikha and Saoud. i talking a bit with Sheikha but then we started working.

Today we went straight away to the Multi-Media Lab from the lesson before humanities. On Thursday, April 2,2009, and on Sunday, April 12,2009, So i missed two lessons,where i could of found a lot of information and written a number of note cards in these two lessons that i missed. Today i straight away went to Mr.Sparks to get my folder because there was no one waiting for him to give his or her folder so i got my folder without waiting for him for a long time. then i went to search for the good book that i haven't seen for more than one week.i found it straight away, then i went to sit in a small table with Alia and Latifa was sitting in the table next to us. we talked for a while then we started working when Mr.Sparks told to stop talking. Mr.Sparks told us that this is the last day for us in the library and if you are still using a book that has good information you'll have come back in your own time, And tomorrow will be the first day for us to be in the multi media lab.

As soon as i got to the library i quickly went to the ancient books to get the amazing book, and thank god i found it there sitting by it self waiting for me to come and get. Today i sat in a table by myself next to Alia's table. Alia was sitting by herself. We talked for a while. Then we started working really well for the rest of the lesson. I tried really hard to finish from the book today but i couldn't.

YES....................Finally i found my really amazing book. i tried my best to finish from it today so then i would not keep on wasting my time trying to find it. i worked well today, but not really well i could of done more work like yesterday. the table was quite today because it was only me and Latifa on the table. today i felt really hyper and was in the mood in writing and reading. i did a lot of work and I'm really proud of my self. i just hope that i have the same mood every time we have humanities. the number of people on the table was OK and not most people on the table didn't work as hard as i worked. today i couldn't find the good book, but i found another good book and thank god that i finished from it from the first day, so then i don't have keep on trying to find it and waste like i did on the other book.I'm sensing that somebody is hiding that book away so then nobody would take and then he or she will have to wait until the person finishes from it.

As normal, i went to the library straight away from third period. our daily schedule in the library is to first go choose a book. then go get our Early Civilization folders from Mr. Sparks.After that go choose a quite table where you will not be talking with your friends. After that you read roughly through the book and the information that you think that will help with your essay you have to summarize it as much as you can. you also have to write a bibliography for every book you took information from.

Today Mr.sparks was absent. what we did today is that we went to the library to learn how to write a bibliography of a book on the computer. the librarian showed us what we need to do. First you have to open a website called Easybib.com. then you have to fill in the information needed such as the author, the name of the book when it was copy writes and where. then she made people come up and try how to do it just to make sure that we understand where to go and what to do. then we went to a corner of the library that was filled of books that we are really going to help us in our assignment. they made us go through them and try to choose the civilization that you want. they were china, India, Roma, Mesopotamia and Greece. after i went through each civilization and the the information that the books had I'm thinking of choosing Roma because most of the information i need is in that civilization.
Today Mr.sparks was absent. what we did today is that we went to the library to learn how to write a bibliography of a book on the computer. the librarian showed us what we need to do. Thursday,March 5th,2009.
Today Mr. sparks was absent. we had a substitute teacher and ms. Fletcher . what we did today is that they gave us a plain sheet to write down our questions for the three topics we choose. we can only choose two of the three tropics we did on the board and one of the other tropics that we did not do on the board. for each of three tropics that we choose to do we needed to write at least 8 questions. after you finish writing 8 questions for every tropic you chose the sub will satiable it on the back of your red notebook. then you can start on your journal. and if you didn't finish your journal for the day you had to do your homework. oh..... i forgot to tell you that we have to bring our homework diaries every lesson and i forgot to bring , so ms.Fletcher wrote my name down to show it to Mr. sparks.

Tuesday, March 3th, 2009.
Mr. Sparks talked to us about what the new assignment is, and what we are going to do in next few days. what we did today is that we wrote guiding question on the board. on the same day we had a due homework. i forget to do it, so Mr. sparks made me stand for half of the lesson until i gave him a good guiding question., then he maid me sit down. were writing guiding questions the whole lesson. they were about three tropics. 1-government and law .2-art and architecture.3- social class. we didn't have to write any question for social class because it took time choosing the good guiding questions.
